What is different about this example from previous examples?
  • This building is similar to the Chaise Lounge furniture piece in the way that this piece could be mistaken for the Victorian style of design. While this work could have been influened by both styles, what makes this piece art noveau is the inclusion of the female form as a head adorning the building.

Why is this example important to you?
  • This is more than just an Art Noveau building, it is an Art Noveau castle. It takes some of the architectual element present in  castles and makes it Art Noveau.
